Military Reach - Military families are families first and foremost. They face the same challenges and pressures as ordinary families. However, they do so in a context of change and change. Our goal is twofold - to make research useful and accessible. We are committed to putting research in the hands of military families, service professionals and those who work on behalf of military families by collaborating, leveraging technological advances, and publishing products. working hard.

The REACH team identifies and reviews existing research literature on military families to determine how information presented on these topics will benefit our target audience: military families, support professionals hands, military leaders, and policymakers.
The REACH team carefully reviews research reports that have an impact on the lives of military families, using a literature-based review process. The system allows the REACH team to order audits based on three categories: credibility, engagement and communication aspects. The REACH team uses this system to inform readers of the credibility level of each document in an effort to provide accurate and reliable information.
After the research process, the research paper is converted into a two-page TRIP (Translating Research into Practice) report. The TRIP report summarizes key findings and implications for our three target populations with the aim of translating academic and scientific discourse into accessible language.
All family research documents are kept in an online library, where users can find their complete information, links to their original sources, and where applicable, Tripp reports. The online library is intuitive, easy to use, and supports the search of our military family research database.

After the TRIP report is completed and filed, the REACH team publishes key findings on multiple media outlets, and links viewers to the full TRIP report. In addition, the REACH team sends reports directly to the Department of Defense for distribution to those who can use the information to inform policy and practice. Finally, those interested in military families can sign up for the monthly Military REACH newsletter, where they will find complete updates on our latest products.
