Military Reading List
This reading list provides a number of recommended specialty readings for all levels of the department, focusing on specialist intelligence and broader firearms skills. Given that all soldiers are collectors, this list will be of interest to all members of the Australian Army, regardless of rank, trade or corps.
Marine Corps Commandant's Professional Reading List
Benalvard graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon in 1999 and was commissioned into the Australian Intelligence Service. In Army, Special Operations, and Joint Forces command and leadership roles, these include electronic warfare, human intelligence, and signals intelligence. He was deployed to numerous operations inland and in the Middle East, worked at the Ministry of Defense and Army Headquarters in Canberra, and held a teaching position in the UK. Lieutenant Colonel Alward is a graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College and holds a Masters in Military and Defense Studies from the Australian National University. He also holds a Masters in Project Management from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Southern Queensland, a Diploma in Portuguese from the ADF Language School and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Enterprise.
